pj tour CDs

dunno if i mentioned this before, but my collection of pearl jam’s european tour CDs is complete. yesterday, i just finished listening to the last one that was still unopened. good set of CDs. i’m thinking of going through all of them again, and picking out the good tracks and burning a compilation CD. would be too much of a pain to carry around 25 CDs in my truck. heh. i also got 4 of the US tour, 2nd leg CDs. i got vegas, san bernardino (the one i went to), san diego, and seattle. the sound quality on the US concerts is tons better than the euro shows — it’s less harsh, and the low end is more prominent. this is largely due to the fact that the sound engineers had more time to work with, and had experience from doing the euro CDs. if you want the skinny behind the boots, here’s a cool interview with PJ’s sound dude. lots of techie info if you’re into that.
