fun with DHTML

i now have one less project to worry about. previously, my “bio” scroller on the top of my page wouldn’t work in Netscape 6 / Mozilla (or anything using the Gecko rendering engine). but i just stumbled upon some DHTML scrolling code that works with NS6 and it works perfectly. this was supposed to be another project of mine — i was actually going to update my old code with standards-compliant stuff, and add some javascript so that it would still play nice with NS4, but this code i just found made it extremely easy. all i had to do add the new functions and call those instead. now if i can figure out why i can’t get the flash plugin to work with Moz (i’ve gotten it to work before), then i will no longer have to use the PITA browser that is NS4.
