4th

i spent most of the 4th of July weekend with Tracy in SD. ahhh, it was much cooler there. we went to the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar. checked out this cool photo and “e-art” gallery. got to try out funnel cake for the very first time. yum! Lifehouse was also playing that night and heard a little bit of their performance. what’s strange is that the audience i heard between the songs sounded almost fake, as if it were piped in over the speakers. really weird. i wonder if they played the fake crowd sound during Billy Ray Cyrus’ show, who played yesterday. maybe they brought out the fake cardboard cutout audience for that too. =) we also checked out the carnie rides there. didn’t go on any, though. guess that means i’m getting old. it also didn’t help to notice that some of the rides were supported on the asphalt by WOODEN CRATES. doh! we saw MIB2 which i recommend. i gotta say that pug stole the show. we also saw Mr. Deeds which i liked as well. if you like Sandler movies, you’ll dig this one as well. was also cool to see a cameo from another Sandler flick. i had a lot of fun in SD this weekend. it’s getting harder and harder to say goodbye and make the drive back up to LA. hopefully i’ll be there permanently by the end of the year, if everything goes as planned…
