update

gah, it’s been nearly 2 weeks since the last update. my winrunner class that i signed up for got cancelled, which is a major bummer since i was looking forward to finally having some automated testing experience under my belt. sucks even more that this was the 2nd time it’s been cancelled. i originally signed up for this way back in february, got cancelled and postponed till july, and cancelled again. only this time i asked for a refund. so after removing that class from my resume, i will continue to go job hunting. for most of next week, i’ll be in San Diego to see if i can find some work there. i’ll be staying at my friend Jeff’s house, who i worked with at DEN, and kinda lost touch with after the dot-bomb fallout and then started talking again after i had sent out my change of email address a while ago. well lo and behold, i find out that he’s living in San Diego… what a cool surprise. he’s not working either so we’re both in the same situation. he’s been helpful in giving me some leads, so here’s what little i can give back to anyone who’s reading this and is looking for a JSP geek: hire Jeff Haskell! and then hire me to test his code! =P sorry, i just have to be a little selfish here. so anyways, i’m gonna be bringing my computer along so keep the fan mail coming! (yes, that was a joke)
