work hard, play hard

don’t really have anything new to report. i’ve been working some 12-hour shifts these past few days, and have many more to come. work is cool. my only complaint is that my eyes are all bugged out and have a hard time focusing at the end of the day. tracy just shared some eye exercises with me that she learned from work, so hopefully that will help. i’m also still looking for a place to live, so i’m still here at jeff’s house. would be nice to find a place close to work. the morning drive i have right now is pretty unpredictable. i’ve left for work at the same time for the past 2 weeks, and the time i get to work varies — i’ve arrived 30 minutes early and other times, 5 minutes early. but even with that, it’s still better than all the other commutes i’ve had when i was in LA, when a good day would be me getting to/from work in less than 90 minutes. oy!
