i’ve created a monster! i’ve been hella busy at work these past few days working on a checklist. it started as a simple 49k excel file and now it’s currently over half a meg large. and i’m still adding to it. doh! just makes me realize how huge this game is going to be. literally. i wish excel had some kind of group collaboration feature so that multiple people can work on a single file at once. that would save me a lot of time. if i had the time, or if i got paid to do it, i’d really like to develop a customized web-based app that would let people enter in their progress on the checklist and update stats in realtime. this is actually an idea i’ve had and have needed during every QA gig i’ve had. i should just make it. or at least patent the idea. hey, if amazon can patent simple aspects of the web, then so can i. =)
