work stuff

damn i’m old. a coworker of mine was playing a Flock of Seagulls CD here at work, and i knew he was pretty young, so i asked him if he was even born when that album had come out (1982), and he said “no”. gah!! i remember my babysitter listening to this record over and over again, and got me into it. i still have one of their vinyl records. it’s just trippy how some music you think is recent has been around for awhile. i was listening to U2’s Zooropa today, and that album came out 10 years ago. doesn’t seem that long ago, does it? maybe it’s just me…

i’ve been spoiled here at work with this new monitor. i got upgraded from a 15″ to a 21″ monitor and it’s niiice. now the 19″ monitor i use at home seems small all of a sudden. hmmm…

we got about 70 new hires this week for support on Star Wars Galaxies, which is coming out soon. it’s made it much harder to get decent parking. the lot was pretty small to begin with and now if you’re not there early enough, it’s street parking for you! hope it’s not too long before we find a bigger office.
