i must be going insane…

i'm 4 hours from wrapping up a 75 hour work week and today has been absolutely dragging.

there's nothing worse than having to stay late at work, thinking about random shit and getting NO sleep because of it, and having to come in to work 2 hours early the next day.

feeling massive guilt cuz i bought yet another PJ 03 tour poster yesterday. it's like crack to me. but look at it. so damn cool looking!! i've got about 8 now. have yet to frame one, and i'm not sure if i have enough room in my room to hang them all up. doh!

these weeks are going by waaay to quickly now that i'm running the QA side of things for my game. had to dust of my old “lead” hat since it's been about 4 years since i was in a similar position. kinda different this time around since its just me and wish i had a little help. i've got people to train overseas and that's a big task in itself. hoping that this will eventually make my job easier in the long run. just tripping at how damn fast all these days are flying by… it's getting exponentially quicker each year. it's only a matter of time before i start saying how fast these years are going.

can't believe it's thursday already.. well technically friday. i thought it would be a tough week, since it was just me running the QA side of things for my game, but it went by pretty okay.

i was checking out tenclub online and they went crazy with the tour posters today. i think they sold out of at least 5 different ones today. there was one i wanted and by the time i saw it was there, it was no longer in stock. grrrr. about an hour or so later, they had the Irvine poster up, which i quickly snagged.

heather and i went to lunch today — for the first time. about frickin time! =P actually it's kinda hard to do since her department has got a funky random schedule for breaks and it was really cool that we were able to finally share a break. went to the food court up the street, blasting some distillers along the way. got to hear heather sing for a bit. =) first went to the Staples near there to check if they had any bluetooth adapters. i asked the dude and he was like “we have *nothing* for bluetooth”. grrr. worthless. walked over to the food court and checked out the treats being offered. she got a salad and i got some kind of crazy pizza that likes to squirt tomato sauce all over the place (got some on my face, jacket sleeve, and floor all in one bite). talked about an astronaut and some other stuff like how our gaydars are way off sometimes. heh. went back to work and rocked out some more. she let me borrow courtney love's new CD which absolutely rocks, people! go buy it and support her drug habit!!

i then spent the 2nd half of my day attached to my seat. no breaks. had to work on training a crew overseas which turned out to be a more daunting task than i had imagined. there's just more that has to be done when you can only explain things in text, instead of training someone in person. there were so many questions i had to answer, and so little time. it all went by so quick. it was like i got back from lunch, did some training, and then it was the end of the day. those 4 hours seemed like 4 minutes. crazy.

tomorrow is friday the 13th. good times ahead.

these past 2 days have totally flew by. a big part of it is that it's just me doing QA for my game now, so there's always something to do. i'm feeling really lazy though. i have this self-evaluation form to fill out for HR and reviews and i've been putting it off till the last minute to do it. it's due tomorrow and i still haven't finished it yet. i dunno what it is about me, but if something remotely feels like homework, i feel like i just have to put it off until the last possible moment. even if money is involved — i've got my W2s and i know i'll be getting a nice chunk of change back but knowing me i'll probably submit it next month. so yeah, procrastination is one skill that i perfected during college that has helped me in life and in my career.

i've been having all kinds of fun with my nokia 3600. i got a 256MB mmc card for it and have been going nuts with encoding videos and saving it to my phone. also found how fun it is to bluejack people at work. got myself a BT adapter to upload stuff to my phone and heather's. i also left it open so i already have lots of random stuff from people that bluejacked me. baby pics, cartoon characters, games.. weird but cool. only a matter of time before this BT stuff gets exploited in a bad way.

today, heather gave me this quarter-sized “token of appreciation” coin from Subway, circa 1987. too bad it's expired because damn, i could have used 50 cents off. heh. it's so cheesy, i love it! plus i'm a sentimental fool so i'm keeping it. =)

today sucked.

16 people were laid off in my department. my team went from 7 to 2 people.

day 1 of a heather-less workweek. no clowns to bitch about or laugh at. made work much less fun.

stlll trying to get over this cold i've had since thursday. got real bad when i had that “just about to sneeze” feeling for what seemed like an hour and couldn't shake it.

out of habit, i told a coworker “you're fired”, which as of today, isn't funny anymore.

when respawn if there is a battel around the respawning Tube, there will be a “BIG BANG” sound right after you respawn, it kills my speaker and my ear drum if it's and midnight it will wark up who ever is next door.
