Fry's

So a new Fry's opened up today in the City of Industry (much much closer than the Manhattan Beach/Burbank/Fountain Valley stores I've been going to), so I decided to go and check it out. Parking was pretty bad. They had 2 people at the front guiding traffic in. I got lucky and found a spot pretty quick.

I noticed this Fry's had an "industrial" theme going on. Outside there's these huge gears and such around the entrance. Unlike other Fry's, the theme didn't really carry over inside. No biggie. Or maybe it did. There was like a constant smell of B.O. and ass that I couldn't get over (and no, it wasn't me, I showered before I left =P). So does that count as industrial? I'll blame the smell on all the people that were inside and the inadequate ventilation. It was pretty packed.

So I walked around the entire store and saw that all the specials I wanted to check out that were advertised in the paper were all out. No surprise there. It's about as big as all the other Fry's I've been to but there were some improvements. They had their own little anime section. (Yay!) They actually had ink carts for my printer which have been super hard to find. (I didn't buy any because after searching several stores a few weeks ago, I gave up and ordered them online). And even better they had around 70 cashiers, so I didn't have to wait at all, despite the amount of people there.

So I came out with a spindle of 50 CD blanks for 7 bucks. Not bad at all...
