Segway

Gosh derned it! I placed a bid on one of the Segway scooter auctions over at Amazon.com (scroll down... waaaay down). Right now it's at $105,000. Ah well. I guess I'll just have to walk/bike/drive from now on. For a good laugh, check out the reasons for cancelled bids at the bottom of the page.

[And just in case you're wondering why an unemployed person would bid on such a high priced item, I placed the bid 30 minutes after the month-long auction started, and I was quite sure my bid wouldn't stay on top for too long. Now if I was really smart, I should have changed my Amazon name to "underactive.net" and then place the bid. =)]
