Blurbs

Not much going on these days but I’ve got some blurbs here...

...picked up the new Pearl Jam CD yesterday. Even though few of the songs grabbed my attention during the first listen, the album is already starting to grow on me, and this is definitely a case where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. These new songs are meant to be played live. Can’t wait for the tour!

...my computer has been down for the past month and a half (flaky hard drive) and re-installing Gentoo has been giving me some difficulties. Certain packages will break during compilation, which are things I need to keep me from using Windows so much. So for now, I’m on an ancient Pentium II to get my web/mail stuff done.

...got Grand Theft Auto III the day it came out and haven’t really played it much since then. It’s just hard to find time to play. At this point, I’d rather read than play games. gasp! I suppose working as a game tester 12 hours a day would have something to do with that.
