Y2k1 Issues

Funky things started happening to my computer setup... Yesterday, I lost my network connectivity on my desktop box, and after an hour of troubleshooting, I traced it down to a single port on my hub that doesn't work. The light goes on when the cable is plugged into that port, but no data gets transferred. Weird, huh? So, I just plugged the cable into another port.

Another funky thing is my mouse. Some single-clicks are registering as double-clicks and even triple-clicks. I verified this through Gnome Control Panel in Linux, which has a little test application that gives audio feedback when you mouseclick. I was able to get 3 beeps from just 1 mouseclick. Hmmmm...
